Wednesday, July 4
11:30 AM - 2:30 PM - BBQ Lunch on the Front Porch. $8.75

4 PM - America on Parade

Pet Costume Parade - For "Patriotic Pets", register via the Pro Shop.

Golf Cart Parade - Reserve a cart, in advance via the Pro Shop, and decorate.
Carts may be picked up at 2 PM on July 4th.
Parade starts at 4 PM.

July 4 - Wolf Laurel Village Celebration:
For Amenities Program members:
6 PM - Bayou Bar-be-que, and the popular music of The Crew, concessions and activities for children. Fireworks at the end of the evening.
Tickets on sale in the Activities Office: $15 for the full event, $5 for children, 5 and under (meal not included). *Pre-registration required.
Contact the Village Activities office at 689-9212. Parking is limited, so please carpool. In order for roads to remain passable, please park only on one side of Village Lane or Valley View.


Madison County Events:
- Town of Mars Hill and the local VFW will host a 4th of July celebration Wednesday, starting with chicken and fish served from 12 to 6 p.m. by Mount Olive Church; music and other concession foods served at 7 p.m.; $2,500 in door prizes; and a fireworks show at dark. Call 689-2301. /0704

- 42nd annual Marshall Volunteer Fire Department Rodeo will take place Tuesday and Wednesday, July 3 and 4, 8 p.m. both nights, at the Madison County Fairgrounds, U.S. 25/70, Marshall. Tickets for the rodeo are $10 for adults and $5 for children age 12 and younger. Sanctioned by the Southern States Rodeo Association, this is the longest running fire department sponsored rodeo in the state. The rodeo will include bareback riding, calf roping, cowgirls goat tying, cowgirls breakaway roping, barrel racing, bull riding, team roping, kids calf scramble, pony ride and lots more. A community dance at the fair grounds will follow the rodeo on Tuesday and a fireworks show in downtown Marshall will follow the rodeo on Wednesday, weather permitting. Call 649-2660. 07/03
